Hypnotherapy Treatments

What to expect during Hypnotherapy Treatments

Hypnotherapy is a very natural way of getting in touch with the right side of the mind which has unlimited potential and stores all the memories from the past as well as the automatic processes. This includes the bad habits as well as the good habits. It is completely safe and the techniques bear no relation to stage hypnosis. A typical example of a light trance state is when someone is stirring in the morning and yet not fully awake. Day dreaming is another example of light hypnosis. You can expect to feel very relaxed and you might feel as though your body is weightless.  Another common experience is to see colours.  Everyone is different.  The British Medical Association endorsed the practice of hypnosis in Medical School education in 1955 and since that date it has been valued as a very useful addition to conventional medicine. Anyone can be hypnotised if they want to and it can be used for almost any conditions whether it is simply to improve one’s confidence or to address more disabling conditions such as obsessive compulsive disorders. Below are listed just some of the many issues it can help with. Please find out more about these conditions and how they can be treated on the left- hand menu on the side of this page.
